过去进行时

1 定义：在过去的某一是时刻正在发生或进行的动作

2 构成: was /were +doing


3 标志词：at +具体时间点
at five yesterday

At this time last week

At the time

At that time

He was sleeping at nine o’clock yesterday.

    陈述句
was/were+doing

She was watching TV at this time yesterday.
    否定句
was/were not
+doing

She was not watching TV at this time yesterday.
   一般疑问句

5                5    注意：过去进行时还用在状语从句中

        两个     动作都发生在过去  时间长的动作或先发生的动作用过去进行时   短的动作或后发生的动作用一般过去时
6                 6     when while
都表示  当….时 通常可以互换 但区别为
               while
接延续性动词，引导两个同时正在进行并持续时间较长的动作。

Mon was cooking while Dad was reading newspaper
                When
接短暂动词，引导突然发生的动作。

I was having breakfast when someone knocked at the door
