1. Spring Festival is the most important festival in China
2. The customs of Spring Festival
3. How I spent the last  Spring Festival
4. The difference between Christmas and Spring Festival

Spring Festival is one of the most important traditional festivals in China. Like the Christmas in the western countries, Spring Festival is by far the most festive holiday of the year, because this is a special moment when people say good bye to the old year and welcome a new year. People working or studying far away from home try their best to come back home to get reunion with the family. As a primary student, I like Spring Festival very much, because during the Spring Festival I don’t have to go to school, so it’s a time to play games with my friends and have good relaxation and I have known much about how to respect and celebrate many ancient Chinese traditions.
The Spring Festival falls on the 1st day of the 1st lunar month. On the eve of the Spring Festival, the family get together to have a big meal. After supper, children can get lucky money as good wish from the elders. The elder usually enjoy watching TV and the young set off firecrackers. During the Spring Festival, people visit their relatives and wish each other “Happy New Year”. Throughout the Spring Festival, everyone is much friendlier and kinder than at any other time of the year, and you can feel the world is filled with love and harmony.

I always look forward to Spring Festival, since there is no school, I can eat many Kinds of delicious food, set off fireworks, buy new toys and clothes. I do not need to write homework, and can get together with many friends. There is a peaceful and happy atmosphere everywhere.
As I like to eat jaozi, the traditional Chinese food very much, last Spring Festival, my mother taught me how to make it. I watched my mother to knead dough, mix the filling, roll and then wrap. “Ha, Mum, is it so complicated?” I cried, and began to give my mum a helping hand. I hope that someday in the future I am going to make jaozi for my dear parents. After eating jaozi I called my classmates and went skating in YuYuanTan Park. There were many people in it. Everybody seemed to be much friendlier to each other than usual. We chased said “Happy New Year” to each other. There was a lively atmosphere everywhere.
In China people attach great importance to Spring Festival Eve. At that time, all family members who have put on their best clothes eat dinner together. After dinner, the whole family will sit together, chatting and watching TV. Spring Festival party broadcast on CCTV is an essential entertainment for the Chinese both at home and abroad. It’s time for giving gifts and showing respect and friendship.
In western countries, many families will prepare a Christmas tree. You can see tree lights littering, turkey roasting in the oven and angels singing. Many families go to church on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. They gather around the Christmas tree and open their gifts. They sit down to enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner.
需要时发现,才觉得弥足珍贵!
